The Land Of Kirour
This land was here long before Rachel and Tagg came to Od'tumna, and its origin remains somewhat of a mystery. Located about 70 miles northwest of Tumna City, it had been ruled by the Overlord Arakhizhaj for as long as anyone could remember. This tyrant had contacts all over Rosha, and no one knew exactly how he imported his goods, as the entire land was underground.

But Arak disappeared, leaving his immense castle completely deserted and vulnerable...
A Change in the Weather as Winter Comes to the Land...Twice...
Kirour twisted as astounding changes began to take place: streams froze, winds grew chilling....snow fell in it's deeper caverns ....Arak's domain and his the firey tower of lava were no more, having been replaced by Misty Mountain...Ice covered it's rocky surface, thick frost rimmed it's base and covered its peak. His castle was taken over and transformed, becomming an ice castle, beautiful, yet horrible....the Ice Queen had arrived, and the land of Kirour had become a colder place...

The Queen (Shiantar) attempted to overtake the entire land of Od'tumna, thus beginning a battle that would involve many, and it took a supreme effort to defeat her. Perhaps "defeated" is too strong a word, for she was finally imprisoned and disabled inside a water Golum of Benjamin's making. There she remained, inside her beloved Winter Palace...but not for long.

She escaped her prison through trickery; Delila tried despirately to stop her, but the Ice Queen quickly killed her - or so it seemed. Now it is believed that Orchid, the Keeper of Spring was actually the one responsible, for soon after her arrival in Kirour the ice palace melted again, as the younger woman began to make her powers known. The people of Od'tumna were in grave danger once again.

When Orchid was finally killed, Shiantar was proven blameless of all the horrible actions taken in her name. She disappeared for a long while, but has now returned to restore her palace of ice to its former glory; she also intends to rebuild Kirour City, which lies at the base of the frozen mountain. She can be a meddlesome thing, though, so she's sure to get herself into a fix or two...
