Stats Section:

Welcome to the Stats Section, and here I'll explain what stats we'll have.  

There are Four main Stats you'll have:  

Hand to Hand:  This involves using your fist and feet, or a combination of both during a fight.  It can also be used to throw objects at opponents.  When it comes to throwing objects, lets be reasonable, by using common sense.

Melee:  This stat is used to determine how good you use a knife, sabre etc.  

Accuarcy:  This stat is used in relation to how well your aim is with a blaster or pulse rifle.  This stat has to be broken down to what weapon your char uses.  Example:  

Blaster :  14
Pulse Rifle: 12

-Remember, be reasonable to the number of weapons a char can carry on them.  The norm is one blaster, maybe two.  Or, one Pulse Rifle shouldered and resting against your back with two blasters.  Being this is a civilian transport ship, the only people armed and walking about should be security, and they carry with them one blaster.  More senior security officers get to have two blasters, or maybe a holstered pulse rifle.  Civilians are allowed to own weapons, though they are to be kept locked up in thier respective quaters or under counters at merchant shops.  

Intellegence:  This here is where your job class skills will be listed.  The occupation you choose, should relate to the skills one would learn on the job that your char has.  Only -4- skills are used to start.  So think wisely about the skills your char would have in relation to the job occupation he or she would have.

Psionics:  The ablility to move objects with your mind, cause fires and destruction with mental powers, or mind control is NOT allowed.  Psionics is off limits here.

Magic:  Magic as well is off limits to, as it does not exist.  

8's and 5's - 8's are seriously restricted, and please don't expect to get an 8 on any stat right off the bat.  5's are never allowed.  Sorry, if your looking to power game, you've come to the wrong place.  

The stat number assignment goes like this:

20 - <Beginner>
18
16
14
12
10 - <Expert>
8   - <Certain criteria must be met>

Beginning Stats:


When you first create your char, your beginning stats will be allowed one 10, and one 12 only.  The rest are to be 14 on up.  Here is an example:

Hand to Hand:  10
Melee:  14

Accuracy > (Note:  2 weapons are allowed to start)
Blaster:  14
Pulse Rifle: 14

Intellegence >    (Note: 4 Skills are allowed to start)
Mechanics:  12
Charisma:  16
Tool Crafting:  14
Covert Sabatoge:  14

Here is just an example of a Rouge Mechanic, and above you see the one 10, and one 12 allowed to start.  

Level Up / Skill Slot Expansion

Leveling up stats occurs every 5 weeks, where you choose one stat only and increase it up one level.  10's don't automatically up to an 8, unless a certain criteria is met.  Trust me on this, no one will see an 8 for quite awhile.  Once an 8 is approved, it will be the last 8 approved for your char.  The rest will stay at 10.

If after 5 weeks if you choose to not level up a stat, you can in turn add an additional Skill to the Intellegence List OR an additional weapon proficiency under Accuracy.  The starting stat for a new Skill added is 18, and after five weeks you can begin to level up the new skill.
