Name: Cothic
Location: On the northern side of the Elysium River, Cothic stretches over roughly 13 square miles and is just to the east of Mythod.
Leadership: Cothic is run by one person, elected every two years, who makes decisions based upon the needs of the people. Currently serving his 15th month, Jayke Landsa can be contacted or found at most any time with ease.

Religion: The people of Cothic have not established a religion or faith that is believed by the majority.
Climate: Much like Mythod, Cothic suffers from colder autumns and winters, but they are lower in elevation than Mythod and thus have nice, moderate springs with warm summers.
Resources: Cothic's main resources include fishing and foresting
Trades/Professions: Fishermen are common enough, providing the staple food supply for the city, but more importantly are the shipwrights who build all the ships used by Cothic's people. At some point, their famous trade may be available for contracting. Another group of skilled forest caretakers tend to the trees of the region to ensure that the foresters don't depopulate the trees. This group mainly consists of older women. The last main profession are a number of "River Pilers" whose job it is to find areas along the riverbank which could be potentially fatal, especially around the areas where the shipwrights work. The River Pilers must maintain the riverbank and put up safety precautions where it is needed.
Flora: Cothic is a area of slightly hilly land, only leveled out around the shoreside where most of the shipwrights do their work. Otherwise, the land is covered with thick pockets of pine and oak trees, and the floor garnished by rich grass that has the consistency of hay.
Fauna: The normal beasts roam the area common to any grassland or forest including bears, deer, rabbits, and a variety of birds. Snakes are common too, especially within the forests and every year the town suffers at least one forester's death by snakebite.
Known Dangers: Beware the river at this point. Although it is the River which gives life to Cothic, the position they are in is the most dangerously fast flowing spot of the Elysium River where any number of people may lose their balance on the shore and fall under the strong currents.
History: The history of Cothic's past is easy enough. Once Mythod had been settled, wanderlust drove people down the River. Cothic was established by a group who wished only to spend their lives with simple pleasures, founding their society on fishing and agriculture. From there, it evolved to what it is today.
