King Halvard- Though never the greatest among warriors, the King of Anteor is a shrewd old man, clever and subtle, not to mention backed by a rather impressive army. He is most well known for completing the work his fathers before him began: unifying the warring regions into one cohesive nation. It is his line that was also responsible for the introduction and spread of the faith of Amergen across the land. Bellas Rhadamanth- Former Lord of Capricorsia, Baron of Grayhelm. The exiled ruler of what was the last of the provinces to be incorporated into Anteor. Lorens Rhadamanth- Lord of Capricorsia, Baron of Grayhelm. Younger brother to Bellas Rhadamanth, he was granted control of Capricorsia and Grayhelm after his brother’s exile. He is a good man and a decent leader, where his brother was a soldier, he is a peacemaker. Andreas Rhadamanth- At seventeen, he is the eldest son of Bellas Rhadamanth and his late wife, Marina. Greger Rhadamanth- Fourteen years old, Bellas and Marina’s younger son. Casimir Verhun- Duke of the Sarayan Lowlands. Younger brother to Marina; while she was fair haired and gray eyed like both their parents, Casimir was born with black hair and dark eyes. Out of respect for their father and due to the much prized discretion of the culture, this point was ignored while the old lord lived. However, upon his father’s death, he came into control of some of the best, most fertile land in the region, and the masks quickly fell away. Known as ‘the Bastard’ behind his back, neighboring rulers have been chipping away bit by bit at his holdings, no doubt intending to strip him of his lands completely. Bhoem Stalvrick- Lord of Frostcairn. A large gruff man, by most standards, a barbarian; his lands are located in the north, surrounded, for the most part, by impassable mountains and deep woods. He is the father of many sons, strong fighters all, and daughters who are likely every bit as tough. Jannik Kaeiral- Duke of Goldhallow. A favorite of the king, his line has long held close ties to the crown, which, over the years, has proved much to their profit. He is now one of the major players maneuvering for land in the Sarayan Lowlands. |
