![]() Since before any records show, even before the fall of the mighty surface drow race and their banishment to the Underdark, constant wars have been waged between the various races who dwell beneath the surface. Generations have crushed and enslaved one another, only to rise again and repeat the cycle of destruction and chaos. From these ashes of empires and civilizations have risen powerful leaders, men and women who see the virtue in biding their time, building their strength until the day they will wage a final, cataclysmic war, until the day they will destroy their enemies and reign supreme, or be erased from the face of creation.
