Climate: There are no seasons in the depths, and the climate remains a steady 60 degree temp with humid air from distant volcanic vents.
Resources: Illendoll doesn't export anything and all they import are more food-slaves. They are a very self-sufficient species.
Flora and Fauna: There is very little plant life in the caves surrounding Illendoll. There are many natural predators that are cultivated and kept within the outer tunnels of the city by mental command and kept near starving to whet their desire to attack unknown and unprotected Underdark denizens. These consist of Umber hulks, Hook Horrors, Basilisks and abberations such as Acid Trolls and Intellect Devourers.
Known Dangers: The Illithids themselves are the greatest danger of all. Anyone found near or in the city is likely to be mentally enslaved within moments and can look forward to having their minds picked apart for new information that the Flayers can use. Beside that, there are their numerous humanoid slaves and monsterous pets.

History: Illendoll is a city built by Illithids that were exiled from another ancient Illithid city that disapproved of their fervent worship of Illsensine. Unlike most of the residents of Rosha, Illendoll came to be here voluntarily, drawn by the variety of slave stock and relative unknown lands. The Hive Brain, Aerindor, has commanded that all Illithids are to watch and learn about those that fill this world, so that they may discover the easiest ways to enslave those around them and grant greater glory to Illsensine. As per that command, any Illithids seen will most likely flee and avoid conflict and will 'never' willingly bring outsiders to Illendoll unless they are completely enslaved.
