Mind: Untrained
Nowhere in the Ori realm exists a tolerance nor an affinity for the psionic arts. In Luccina and Eelia both, this holds true. Alexios possesses no talent in such craft.

Body: Grand Master
A son of Luccina is raised, from the day he emerges from infancy, to be the fiercest of warriors in all the land. Since the age of six, Alexios had been trained in the craft of warfare, especially in the use of blade and spear and javelin. Across the years he has perfected the skills of the legendary Unbreakables of Luccina and has matured into one of the most gifted practitioners of war in recent memory. Over three decades spent as a student of war has given the general an unparalleled tactical genius, and a lifetime of swordplay and intense physical training has maintained the Lord Dux Legio's impressive combat skills.

Magic: Untrained
Though magic is by no means absent from the realm, it has been outlawed by royal decree all across the continent, from shore to shore. There is no tolerance to the arcane arts; indeed, it is seen as a direct challenge to the eternal rule of the Eelian Gods. Practitioners are swiftly punished.

Weapons and Armor

General Alexios relies mainly on two weapons: his gladius, and his javelins.

His sword is one that he's carried for years, since his days as the Protector of Luccina. Unremarkable in design aesthetics, it is nonetheless a potently mastercrafted piece of art for which the Luccinans were famed. Its steel folded upon itself a hundred times over and cooled in the springs of the city-state. It is keen enough to chip through stone, and has yet to dull in the two decades since its creation.

His javelin are in the old Ori style, shorter than the Eelian pilum and with a barbed head, though by no means less effective on the battlefield. The particular javelins that the general carry were, like his sword, handcrafted for his personal use by the weaponsmiths of Luccina. Their tips are stiff as diamonds and sharp enough to penetrate shields and armor should the thrower be accurate enough. Alexios owns six of these javelins and carries two to battle at all times, always making sure to retrieve them after the fighting has halted.

His armor is an almagamation of Eelian and Luccinan styles, drawing inspiration from both elements. The chestpiece, however, is decidedly Luccinan: a muscled cuirass primarily of bronze, with elements of fine leather worked into areas around the arms. More strips of darkened and layered leather hang in skirts around the waist and shoulders for added protection. He wears bronzed greaves upon his shins and matching bracers upon his arms, as all Eelian Legionaires do.
