Creature Collection

Interested in submitting a monster, sub-species or new race to the Mystical Realms Creature Collection? Great! Here’s what you need to do.

Content for additions to the Collection must be your own, do not use creatures already created for games such as Dungeons & Dragons. New sub-species of old favorites are welcome, such as an original dragon type, new faerie or breed of unicorn.

Creation is simple. Log into the site as any of your characters, go to My Chamber and select Create Page. Use the Creature Template found in the Official MR Templates of Site Weaver. It will look like this.

All fields of the template must be filled out with your own information. Alter the information in the template to reflect your creation but do not change the layout, background, font colors or add extra fields.

Do not delete the Mystical Realms banner at the bottom of the page or the link back to the Creature Collection page.

You may delete the 'Submitted by' if you wish to remain anonymous.

Do not add links to land or other pages, unless it's to other creatures within the Collection. When adding the link, use the url of http://myrealms.net/mystical/creaturecollection/{creaturename}.htm
That link won't work in your chambers but will once it's been transferred.

You do not have to have a creature picture but if you do add one, please resize it so that it's 173 pixels wide. Give credit where credit is due. If you know who the artist is, please link back to their site or put the name of the artist under the image or in the ALT field.

Use a spell check, please do not send us a page containing typos, it will be rejected.

Once completed, go to the Registrar and send us the URL using the member submission for the Creature Collection.

All creatures submitted that meet our standards will be published in the Creature Collection for use throughout Mystical Realms.

You will receive an email once it’s been added, then you can delete the page from your character chamber.

Encyclopedia of Spells & Prayers

Interested in submitting a spell or prayer to the Mystical Realms Encyclopedia of Spells & Prayers? Excellent! Here’s what you need to do.

Content for additions to the Encyclopedia must be your own words, do not copy and paste spells and prayers created for games such as Dungeons & Dragons.

Creation is simple. Log into the site as any of your characters, go to My Chamber and select Create Page. Use the Spell Template found in the Official MR Templates of Site Weaver. This is the template you want.

All fields of the template must be filled out with your own information. Alter the information in the template to reflect your creation but do not change the layout, background, font colors or add extra fields.

Do not delete the Mystical Realms banner at the bottom of the page or the link back to the Encyclopedia of Spells & Prayers page.

You may delete the 'Submitted by' if you wish to remain anonymous. Use a spell check, please do not send us a page containing typos, it will be rejected.

Realms

Want to create a land to appear in the Realms section? Here’s what you have to do.

Lands, whether underwater cities, Underdark nations, or whatever, must be outside of Auvrynon, including the Sea of Eternal Torment.

Apply in the Registrar for a land name under member submissions. Keep in mind as you fill it out that you will be answering all the questions that appear on this template.

After your land has been reviewed, you will notified by email if it’s been accepted or needs more work.

If accepted, the land is set up with a template for you to fill out. It's fine to change the look of the template, but all information there must be answered. Meaning, don't remove a field and you’ll need to provide information for everything there.

The template must be changed within 7 days.

Retain the order in which the fields are represented on the template as well. This is so that people browsing have all the information they need at a quick glance.

Please do not add other information to this index page. Links are acceptable and encouraged. Create new pages to further flesh out your land/nation.

The link back to the Lands page and the Mystical Realms banner at the bottom of the template must remain.

Auvrynon is an example that you can use for reference.

Acknowledge the creators of artwork and graphics you use. Provide a link back to their site if possible.

Shop Directory

The Shop Directory is available for business promotion to appear in the Shop Directory section. Here is what to do to get yours listed.

Business of all kinds may be added to the Shop Directory including cafes, hotels, pubs, academies and shops. They may be PC run or NPC, within Auvrynon or any other listed Realm.

Apply in the Registrar for a shop name under member submissions. Keep in mind as you fill it out that you will be answering all the fields that appear on this template.

After your request has been reviewed, you will notified by email that the template has been set up.

The template must be changed within a 3 days.

Retain the order in which the fields are represented on the template. This is so that people browsing have all the information they need at a quick glance.

Please do not add other information to this index page other than the NPC field. Create new pages to further flesh out your business. Please delete the Enter the Shop! Link if you do not add further pages. You may change the colors and please switch out the image for one that represents the business or delete the image completely.

The link back to the Shop Directory page and a Mystical Realms banner must be at the bottom of the page.

Mabel’s Bakery is an example that you can use for reference.
