Mystical Realms Patrons may elect to pay a setup fee and administer their own chat room, thereby becoming the Realm Keeper of that room. It’s a great way to expand on your storylines, there is an appeal to controlling the elements of role-plays, such as managing who participates and dictating the surroundings. Along with the freedom comes responsibility. Responsibility to be fair with players and to handle the IC/OOC situations that are thrown your way during the course of gaming. Running a chat room can be taxing. Be prepared to give up some of your playtime to work behind the scenes, whether it is expanding your webpages, posting or detailing role-plays.

Develop a Land
Realm Keeper must first create a land page for the Realms section. Visit the Registrar to register your land name.
Pay Setup Fee
The setup fee varies depending on which Realm Keeper Package* you choose.
Payment may be sent by check or money order. Contact registration@myrealms.net to ask for details. Credit cards may be used via
Decide whether or not you want the chat room name to represent the totality of your nation, i.e. Auvrynon; the capital or other city within, i.e. City of Gates; a tavern/pub/inn or other building, i.e. Albatross Inn; or an outstanding feature, i.e. Starlit Shore. Once a room name has been submitted, it will not be changed until the following year when you renew. There is a fee for each change done prior to your renewal date. Think carefully about your room and forum name. Each choice presents unique challenges, rewards and role-plays.

Be sure to include the following:
Your main contact character.
Name of the Realm Keeper Package you chose.
The method that you paid by.
You will be sent the Realm Keeper form that must be completed to open a chat room(s).
Chat Room Features
A public chat room with the name of your choosing.
Ability to run Narration in your room.
Ability to run NPCs as well as roll dice for them.
Ability to gag troublesome players in your room.
Ability to boot troublesome players from your room.
Ability to ban individuals from your room.
Ability to flag players to alert other moderators about problems.
Forum Features
Access to the Round Table, a discussion board for room owners and staff members.
Home Page
Your own icon with the name of your chat room listed on it to post stories of your adventures on the home page of Mystical Realms.
Additional Information
Public rooms of Mystical Realms must abide by the Code of Conduct and Terms of Service. This means that brothels are not allowed! Site Moderators and Chat Keepers may and will visit the chat room from time to time.
Chat rooms are currently being accepted for Auvrynon so long as they are a structure rather than a town or land formation. All buildings within Auvrynon are subject to the discretion of the administration.
* All Realm Keeper packages are subject to an annual renewal fee.
Chat rooms that are inactive for 60 days are considered abandoned and may be removed at the discretion of administration.
Administration of a chat room does not guarantee continued membership to Mystical Realms. Chat rooms, forums and all webpages will be removed and deleted if membership is cancelled or the Code of Conduct or Terms of Service are violated.
